CHALLENGE

Following the success of the recent refit in Stockbridge, Bento came to us again and asked us to bring their unit in South Bridge up to date. They wanted a uniform approach while allowing each site to keep it's own unique identity.

APPROACH

We continued the translation of their beautiful, simple and fresh asian cuisine, looking at new ways of adapting the design to a new site with a very different feel including booth seating and dual aspect floor to ceiling windows. Situated on the east side of the city we took their strong brand colour combo and decided on a playful dark twist by sectioning the space using their brand cobalt blue in a bold and clean way. Dining and product display with takeaway now clearly defined.

Our brief was to create a takeaway that stood apart, we used contrast to create a bold shopfront utilising the colour palette giving standout and attracting footfall.
